Dill is from our first clutch of curlew eggs to hatch in 2024, Dill was a quieter chick and was often beaten to the best food but his more confident clutch mates Dobby (JK) and Dorris (JE). Despite not always getting to the food first Dill has outgrown his clutch mates and was chosen to be tagged. Dill has so far been exploring the immediate area around the pre-release pen and has yet to venture over the sea wall.

Dill has wonderfully integrated with a curlew flock and divides his time between the coast and fields around Snettisham.

Dill has since spent his time foraging and roosting in fields around Snettisham with infrequent trips to the beach.
