After release Dermot immediately flew to a field near Wells, but only after spending an afternoon there he decided to attempt to return to the release pen.

After spending time in the surrounding countryside from the release site, Dermot continued on to the mouth of the Great Ouse river and has stayed there since – with a brief foray to Gedney last week.

Dermot has continued to stay near the mouth of the Great Ouse river with occasional flights to fields north of Kings Lynn
