Cleopatra and her clutch mates were very strong, healthy, relaxed birds from hatch. Cleopatra spent most of her time as a chick with her sibling Crumble (XA), chasing insects and relaxing in the long grass. In the early evenings you could find Cleopatra happily snuggling up with Crumble, Calypso (XH) and Curie (XT), enjoying the last of the sun.
Two days after being released Cleopatra set out to explore the surrounding area and is so far, one of the more adventurous birds. In the first two weeks post release she visited Fring, Sculthorpe, Gayton and Anmer, always returning to Sandringham before her next adventure.

For the last two months Cleopatra has been foraging along the coast between the mouth of the Great Ouse and Snettisham.

Cleopatra has continued to forage along the same section of the coast and often returns to the same to the same area of the marsh each day.
